Alex Fielding
Alex is an APA Titled Sport & Exercise Physiotherapist and Chiropractor who consults at Dural. He is one of only two people in Australia that are dual qualified as both a titled Physiotherapist and Chiropractor, and has over 13 years clinical experience. He also consults at our Glenorie and Dural clinics.
Alex has a special interest in managing complex spinal injuries and getting athletes to return to performing their best after sports injuries. He has a wealth of experience working in sports at all levels, from amateur to Olympic level athletes. He has been involved as a physiotherapist for Hockey NSW, Hockey Australia, NSW Institute of Sport, Redfield Old Boys Rugby Union club, and helping managing powerlifters to compete and succeed at the Commonwealth and World Championships.
Alex takes a caring and practical approach to managing your injuries, where he starts with understanding how it impacts your everyday activities. He then develops an individualised treatment plan with you, which can include any hands-on techniques, exercises, gym programs, or specialised training. This helps people get back to what's important to them, whether that's getting out of pain, being able to pick up the grandkids, or playing sports on the weekend.
